Megaman X Command Mission marks a new approach for the Megaman X Universe. The idea of converging all elements that makes Megaman X into an RPG is truly breath-taking. The technique used for the game is cell-shading, which may not appeal to everybody, at least for me gives a new artistic approach to the series. Although it may not become the finest RPG ever made, it is suitable for people in love with the series. You'll probably enjoy it a lot if you enjoy the Megaman X saga. The game features 10 chapters, is... perhaps somewhat small, but packs a great challenge, specially on the latest levels. The ability to apply Action Triggers inside a battle gives the combat system a new air. Although X won't learn any special moves every time he defeats a Boss, he features the ability to exchange Busters with different attribute damage, special gimmicks and... well... everything there is to a RPG. The same happens with Zero, try to get the Red Lotus Saber... ;) Also... Hyper Mode... remember the special armors... well, prepare yourself to see X morph into a Hovering Tank... Zero transformation to Absolute Zero... and pretty much everybody else... nice game.Read full review
vary good game. it have good sound, graphics and gameplay but thare is 1 bad thing: you can finish the game about 50-100 hours that is not so long for an rpg game. the gameplay make up for the short game with new stuff to see such as the hyper mode, this mode let you become vary strong but for a limited number of turns and it is usefull for the most powerful bosses. the graphic is vary good but the models arnt looking that good in auction outside fights. the music is vary good and keep changing from level to level. in total i would give it a 8/10
...what a disappointment! This is a case of a greaty Idea which was poorly executed. Didn't care for thsi one at all. Graphics are average. Music was not very good, and quite monotonous. Voice acting was horrendous Random Battles were way too frequent presentation of Battle sequences was just really shabby. I purchased this game because I am a huge fan of the Megaman/MegamanX Series...this is one of the few titles in the series I did not yet own. Unless you simply have to have every game for your collection, pass on this one. -it's crap....and that makes me sad, because it could have been so much cooler.
The answer is simply no. I have played a lot of RPGs, and I may be biased because I am infatuated with Megaman, but the Megaman X: Command Mission RPG is beautiful!! It still has a lot of gameplay that doesn't involve strictly numbers, and reminds me of the style Megaman X7 went for when they tried the full 3D to 2D sort of thing. LOVE THIS GAME AND EVERY MEGAMAN GAME!! 3
I must be honest, this game is good, but not great, why? It's repetitive, a less amount of enemies than others RPG´s. But It has its charism, the mega man x characters are there, Mega Man, Zero (great!), Axl and others. It is funny for me because I am inconditional MManiac but if you are looking for a huge RPG game, this can't be your chosen. That's all.
